OnCourse goes mobile, enhancing advising access and student engagement

On April 23, students will gain access to OnCourse through the Navigate360 mobile app, providing a more streamlined and accessible advising experience. This update simplifies how students connect with staff, faculty, and campus resources in one centralized platform.

Within the app, students can easily complete the following tasks and connect with campus resources, all without needing to switch between systems:

  • Schedule and manage appointments
  • View advising notes and progress updates
  • Access class schedules and key academic information

This increased visibility into advising interactions such as notes, referrals, and progress reports, makes it easier for students to stay informed and take action.

For faculty and staff, the mobile experience supports more effective outreach and follow-through. With easier access to scheduling, advising information, and timely reminders, students are more likely to engage and complete recommended next steps.

More than half of students in the feedback group highlighted a need for clearer, more accessible advising tools, which this mobile experience is designed to address.

The mobile app will initially be available to undergraduate students, with plans to expand access to graduate and professional students in Autumn 2026. Students can search “Navigate360 Student” in the App Store or Google Play to download.
